Real Estate Marketing Survey 2009

September 29th, 2009 | by Jamie Matusek

We have launched the 2009 real estate marketing survey.

This industry-wide study is being conducted to uncover new marketing trends and strategies that are developing in the real estate marketplace today. This study will compile key market data from real estate professionals across the country.

If you are in real estate, we need your participation! The data collected will give us and all participants a more accurate view of what’s happening across the entire market. All participants will have access to the final study results.

From the compiled results, real estate professionals will have a view into:

  • How to distribute marketing spend for optimal results
  • What marketing tactics are working for top-producing agents
  • What new channels are generating more qualified leads
  • How new marketing technology is helping agents save time and money

And much more!

Responses will be collected by Slingshot, a full service ad agency located in Dallas, Tx.  Real estate professionals have until October 31, 2009 to complete the 10-minute survey. All participants will be entered for a chance to win a Dell Latitude XT convertible touch-screen tablet PC.

For real estate professionals only.

Start the survey now.

Thanks for helping us on the quest for data.

QuantumDigital, Inc. Earns G7 Master Printer Status

September 28th, 2009 | by Jamie Matusek

QuantumDigital is one of eight G7 Master Printers in Texas and one of the first and few pure digital printers worldwide to achieve this distinction.

What does G7 mean?

For corporate print buyers, brand managers and ad agencies, the distinction means that you and your clients can maintain brand integrity across all of your print projects. It changes printing from an art (visual check), to a science. G7 solves a common problem for print buyers: getting consistent color quality regardless of the technology, printer or location.

Find out more abot QuantumDigital and G7 master status by reading the press release.

G7® Master Printer status is awarded by the International Digital Enterprise Alliance (IDEAlliance).

Home Staging Videos For Seller Success

Here’s a guest post by QuantumDigital’s Director of Business Development.

Selling your home in any market can be down right stressful and trying no matter how much planning you undergo.
One of the biggest headaches most sellers have to face right from the start is the idea of preparing their home for the market place. House staging is certainly not everyone’s forte. So where do you turn when you need helpful tips and ideas for tackling this kind of project?

If you’re lucky, you might have a family member or a friend that’s been through this process enough times that they can do it with their eyes closed. But, on the other hand, what if you don’t?

I recently had the opportunity to speak with Camilla Sullivan, SVP of Marketing for Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate of Parsippany, NJ while at a real estate leadership conference in New York. We were deep in conversation about how emotional and sensitive home sellers can be when they are advised by their agent on what to do with all of the years of clutter they’ve collected.

In many cases, this can be an area of contention between the seller and the agent. That’s when she shared with me how BH&G removes these types of obstacles from the selling process. They have created a series of staging videos that coaches and helps guide their sellers on the various aspects of staging such as how to clean up and de-clutter their home, rearrange and sometimes remove or replace furniture, newly painted walls, pleasant smells, ah…you get the picture.

When the time is right, the agent directs their sellers to the BH&G website to review the videos. After a few days have passed, the agent will then follow up with them to answer any questions or to provide further assistance. This approach takes the burden of being the “bad guy” off the agent’s shoulders.

With this type of creative thinking, there’s no doubt that Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate will continue to find success in growing it’s brand. Other sources of house staging are readily available in various sources. I’ve listed a few below.
